The UConn Dance Team would like thank the UConn Alumni Association for their continuing support of our program!
We would also like to thank the UConn Club Sports and the Undergraduate Student Government
Along with practices, performances, and event appearances, the UConn Dance Team organizes its own fundraising activities.
In 2008, we held our first annual Dancers for Caner event in which we raised funds to donate to the local cancer society chapter.
Donations
The University of Connecticut Dance Team maintains a standard of excellence, professionalism and school pride through our performances.
Remember the first time you lost your voice at a UConn v. Syracuse game or cheered the Huskies on to victory at Gampel Pavillion? The sense of pride and that feeling of passion for UConn athletics you bring to each game? The UConn Dance Team is an extension of this spirit and helps to express your feelings of pride to all the fans. Because we are ambassadors for you, we are asking that you consider a contribution in support of furthering our mission.
We receive minimal funding from the University, and your gift would enable us to offset costs such as uniforms, performance materials and camp. As an example, the cost to outfit one Dance Team member for both the football and basketball seasons is approximately $700.
A gift from you could help bring us closer to our goal of delivering ever more spectacular productions at football games and throughout the basketball season.
We hope to see you at many of our UConn athletic events throughout this year and we thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this request.
